As the world at large hysterically gears itself up (thanks to the media) for yet another epidemic, this time the ebola fever, there are some things that you may find helpful to know. Things that can empower you, that can take you away from paralysing fear into knowledge that you can use to your advantage.

EVD
Few, if any, people know where these epidemics come from; are they manufactured to create panic, to control the masses or are they introduced to help make Big Pharma even wealthier? Are they naturally occurring? Does it matter? Perhaps not if you are feeling vulnerable.

There are a couple of important things to know about health that can protect you from anything (yes, any disease, any epidemic, anything new, anything that medicine can’t help, as with the ebola virus disease or EVD) and these are the points in this article.

First of all, you need to understand what your immune system is. People don’t really understand what it is. For example, I recently read that a medical researcher has created disease strains that will override the immune system. What was actually meant was that the disease strains he was creating would not be held at bay by that body’s disease antibodies. NOT the immune system.

Please understand that ANTIBODIES ARE NOT THE IMMUNE SYSTEM!

This is so misunderstood by the medical profession, mostly those who are hooked into the view that vaccines protect you against disease. This is just not possible. Vaccines create antibodies (not always) and these can help protect you against that exact same disease strain, as long as it hasn’t mutated.

This process, far from increasing your overall immunity, depresses it, making you more vulnerable to epidemics, such as ordinary flu, bird flu, swine flu and now the ebola fever.

Instead, the immune system works in a totally different, and very natural, way, otherwise we wouldn’t be here today.

The atmosphere contains hundreds, probably thousands, of pathogens that you breathe in every day. Your body’s immune system has learned how to handle them by a process. It starts in the nose. You breathe in the pathogen and let’s say it’s one your body doesn’t recognise. Immediately your body tries to expel it and it does this by stimulating a sneeze.

If your immune system is in good shape, that may be the end of that. If not, then further sneezes may help. If the sneezing doesn’t work because your immune system doesn’t work very well, then the pathogen descends through your system. Now your nose may start to stream. Mucous carries unwanted toxins and pathogens out of the body.

If this doesn’t work, again because your immune system is not in the best shape (although still pretty good), then you may develop a sore throat or a fever. Fevers, especially short, intense, high ones, are wonderful ways the body has of expelling unwanted pathogens. But only a healthy body can afford an intense fever.

And so the process moves on down through ever more deepening systems.

If your body is not able to eliminate the invading pathogen, then antibodies are often naturally created, so at least your body can be more prepared next time. This means, the presence of antibodies in the blood, means that the body FAILED to prevent the invasion. It DOESN’T mean that the body is healthy.

There is no medical test to evaluate the health of an immune system!

So how do you have a healthy immune system? The quick answer is to opt out of our damaging culture and live more in touch with Nature, but this isn’t very helpful to most people, at least in the short run.

However, you can change many things in your life and the most important ones include:

  • eat huge amounts of fresh fruit and veggies daily (no limit)
  • eliminate ALL processed and fast foods
  • limit or cut out animal proteins
  • learn to meditate – even spot meditations (for seconds many times a day) can do wonders
  • get out into the sun, without sunscreen, as much as your skin type can tolerate (ie not burning)
  • get some form of daily exercise – even housework is exercise
  • get out into nature regularly and do peaceful things, in tune with your inner core
  • make ‘you’ time every day, doing something that makes you feel good and at peace
  • get onto a spiritual path that suits you – to help you grow and evolve
  • use holistic medicine when you need help, reserving medical support as a last resort

On that last note, homeopathy has had a far greater success rate with epidemic diseases than medicine ever has. To give you an idea, mortality rates for Spanish flu in the US in 1918 was 30% under doctors, but only 1.05% under homeopathic treatment. There are many more such examples.

You don’t have to wait until the ebola fever epidemic arrives in your area, if it does, to act. If you are already seeing a homeopathic practitioner and getting good, ongoing results, then the chances of you either getting it or succumbing to it are already significantly reduced, because you have been naturally raising your immune system.

At the time of publishing this article, there was no medical treatment for the EVD, so being prepared is down to you taking control of your own health and your own immune system. It’s always been that way, it’s just that most people have forgotten this basic truth.

As one doctor, Thomas E Levy, has so succinctly put it, “ebola is really an ordinary virus that causes extraordinary pathology in those with a poor nutritional status and a lack of significant antioxidant stores in their bodies”.

It was ever thus.

The truth is finally coming out. This is an interesting article. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/how-independent-are-vaccine-defenders/

Thanks Madeleine, always love reading your posts…. a friend of mine tagged me in a news article on facebook today (as if to prove something against my anti vax views).. it said “A Nobel Prize-winning scientist has issued a warning to Australian parents who are reluctant to vaccinate their children.
Professor Rolf Zinkernage said that old diseases could re-emerge without vaccination programs, possibly with worse effects than when they were originally widespread.”….is a subject that makes my blood boil and instantly want to enter into another heart filled debate but i restrained….and then was very pleased to receive your email and see the views of someone that speaks common sense 🙂

More outstanding information from you, Madeleine. The best thing is to have a strong immune system so we don’t even get the disease. If we do catch something, we want to get over it as quickly as possible. Only natural living measures and homeopathy do this. Thank you for your wonderful website. We love your newsletters.
