When something goes wrong in our lives, we often feel unfortunate, perhaps a victim, that life is not fair, and so forth. We want life to pan out in an endless way of good fortune and just as we plan it.
But things don’t work out that way. For a very good reason. This reason is normally because we are on the wrong path for our own good or for why we are here.
Fate frequently gives us a kick up the backside to help us change direction to a more helpful or inner harmonious path.
Mary is a good example. She first came to see me many years ago, in a high state of anxiety. She was experiencing stomach pain and was very scared she might have a degenerative disease. She had a family of small children and wasn’t coping very well.
She had asked her partner to accompany her to a recent GP’s consultation. Her GP completely ignored her, and talked about her to her partner. Not surprisingly, she found this profoundly disturbing. Was she going off her head? Was she that bad?
After a typical lengthy and searching consultation, the homeopathic medicine I prescribed her immediately settled the stomach pain. But it also did something unexpected for her. Now her anxiety levels dropped dramatically. And she was able to sleep, instead of anxiously tossing and turning much of the night.
It wasn’t long before she was able to carry out her domestic duties, which had been sliding. She even managed to drive the children to school, something she had been too scared to do for many months.
Off her own bat, she decided to postpone the exploratory procedure she was booked in for. She was feeling so much better, she decided to wait and see.
Over the coming months, she consulted me less and less often. But now she started to bring her children, one by one. They were suffering from asthma, eczema or anxiety.
With their homeopathic treatment, dramatic improvements were seen.
The whole family is now in a much healthier state than they were when Mary first consulted me.
Mary decided to purchase my home prescribing course, the Opal Membership Group. She now easily deals with minor injuries, colds and all the other acute situations that happen in every family. She is confident in her abilities and friends and neighbours often ask for help.
Mary now has a full time job doing something she loves. This would have been impossible when she first consulted me. She now has the energy and ability to juggle home and work. She does so happily and without tension.
There is no anxiety.
This all came about because Mary was experiencing a bad time in her life. She chose to change direction and her whole family has benefitted.
It’s a salutary thought that we need to be aware that we may not be travelling in the right direction. Listen to what life has to tell you. Don’t judge bad things that happen to you as bad. Open up to the message within.
