Homeopathic treatment is not like any other form of health care and certainly nothing like medicine.
For this reason, when you are getting homeopathic treatment, it is vital to stay in contact with your homeopath. One treatment is never going to unravel a lifetime of problems.
The action that a homeopath is looking for is a stimulation of your immune system. It is unlikely that you will recognise that yourself, unless you are very sensitive and know how homeopathic treatment works.
Once there is a reaction, then the remedy is stopped and then the hard bit starts – the waiting. This cannot be rushed. Now your body is in a position to start unravelling the past, but it has to do this in its own time.
Once the reaction has stopped, then another dose is required.
This is in stark contrast to medicine, whereby the body is forced into subjugation by constant drugs. Because most people are still in the mindset of medicine, they tend to keep repeating the remedy and then complain that nothing is happening.
Yet much may be happening to a trained eye, on a subtle level.
It is common for people to come back to their homeopath and say nothing has happened. Yet when the subtle signs are compared with the previous visit, it is possible to see deep changes, that indicate health is being restored. Most people need educating on this.
This is one of the problems that people find when they start to use the common remedies at home, without any knowledge. Sometimes you can get spectacular results, especially for something that has just occurred. But if you have had a problem a long time, then your body can’t repair that in minutes.
Rome wasn’t built in a day and your health won’t be restored quickly, especially if you have taken lots of drugs and if your diet isn’t too good.
How often should you see your homeopath? That depends entirely on the problem. A serious acute, such as a recent injury, may take several visits close together, days apart. A slow chronic problem, such as arthritis, will do better on monthly visits for a few months.
People often feel that one visit to a homeopath is enough. But health care is a journey, not an event.. Don’t skimp on your best asset – your health. Make sure that this is a priority whatever discipline of health care you choose. But try to avoid quick fixes. They don’t exist in real health and will come back to bite you on the bum in the future.
The pace of western life is ridiculously fast. Are you even heading in the right direction? Slow down. Allow your body time to repair itself and learn to understand what it is trying to communicate to you.
Homeopathic treatment, the health care of the future.
