With so many adverse effects from synthetic hormone replacement therapy. more and more women are looking for HRT alternatives as well as a more natural approach to managing their health.

It’s not surprising that women suffer a lot more with health issues than do men, bearing in mind it is the women who carry the foetus and all that entails. And because of this, it is often the women who bear the brunt of the family planning options.

When the oral contraceptive pill first appeared, many women were delighted at what first appeared to be such an easy option. Now, nearly everyone is aware that there are prices to be paid whenever you unbalance the body’s chemistry with synthetic substances. Unbalancing the hormones, with synthetic hormones, is a particularly treacherous path to take.

I have noticed in my practice, as have many natural health therapists, that the women who have never taken the pill, or any other synthetic hormone, are those who sail through menopause with barely any trouble. They may have the odd hot flush, but by and large, their symptoms are minimal.

So what can the majority of us do, those who have taken synthetic hormones in the past? What, in the way of natural HRT alternatives especially, are available that actually work?

There are some great medicinal herbs that can support any hormonal imbalance and for that, you would need to see an herbalist.

However, for faster and deeper action, there is very little that comes close to the action of homeopathy! Can me biased if you like, but I am constantly enthralled by the seemingly effortless way good homeopathic treatment cuts through problems.

Sometimes, this takes time with steady improvement along the way. Sometimes, it is really quick. There are many factors which influence the speed of the action and some of these include:

  • how long you have had the problem
  • what treatment you have already had
  • what other health problems you have or have had
  • how they were treated
  • what your stress levels are like regarding harmony (or lack of) at home and work
  • how well you and your homeopath work together

This last item is really important, but often overlooked. Homeopaths are people too! We also have faults and failings. So when there is a good relationship between the practitioner and the patient, a new energy seems to support the connection and help the process in amazing ways.

I work best with people who are in touch with their body’s subtle signs and symptoms and are able to talk about them. It’s these that are like solid gold to a homeopath, as your homeopathic treatment is based on your personal expression and your individuality.

So if you are looking for dynamic (and, of course, natural) HRT alternatives, please contact me for a chat or a complimentary 15 minute evaluation. I love empowering people to a new approach of health care.
